The room and entire hotel was spotless/extremely clean and the hotel staff/associates were beyond friendly, courteous and welcoming. The location was perfect to everything and my NYC office. Special thanks to front desk associate Destinee. She answered all my questions during my stay and made my check-in swift and smooth especially when I had an urgency to attend a work meeting on my check in day. I will recommend this hotel to everyone and I will definitely return. Although everything was great and gave a 5 star rating, I must disclose that I was disappointed with the limited elevator service. That needs an improvement sooner rather than later as the wait for the elevator made me miss my uber pick up and there was always a delay to either head to the lobby or up to my room. Other than the elevator issue, great hotel and employees!!

I stayed here for 6 nights. Perfect location with plenty of food options, subway and Times Square just a short walk away. Our room was clean, warm, and very quiet with great views (we were on 31st floor). Was also given a late check out when I enquired without any issue and Adrian who we met in the lobby was very welcoming and attentive. We’d definitely stay here again and look forward to it. One thing to be aware of - they take a $100 per night deposit at check in. I’m not sure if this is normal in NYC but I wasn’t expecting it and found it excessive.

I planned a five-day stay to celebrate my honeymoon with my fiancé, and it was honestly amazing. If there’s any hotel I’d recommend staying at in the city, close to all our favorite places, it’s this one. They only charge a $100 per day deposit to your credit card, which you get back after checking out. They were sweet enough to decorate our room SO beautifully, and on top of that, they gave us the nicest view they had available due to the special occasion. We also had to extend our stay last minute due to the blizzard since our flight kept getting canceled, and they were incredibly accommodating. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff was amazing — I wish I had gotten their names because they were all so sweet. Room service was great as well; the ladies and gentlemen were super nice and respectful.

I had a great four-night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn New York Central Park South Midtown West, and it got off to a flying start thanks to Destinee on the front desk, who gave a wonderfully warm welcome – not just to me, but to everyone checking in. In fact, the whole front desk team were excellent throughout my stay, particularly Kierra and Sylvia. A special mention absolutely has to go to Vivienne in housekeeping, who was an absolute star – checking in on me, keeping me well supplied with towels and making sure I had everything I needed. The level of care and friendliness from all the staff I interacted with was genuinely impressive. The room was compact, as you’d expect in New York, but perfectly laid out. I had a king room which was very comfortable, and despite facing the street, it was remarkably quiet – I slept extremely well. Lifts can apparently get busy at times, but I never experienced any queues/lines or long waits. The location is superb – less than a ten-minute walk to both Times Square and Columbus Circle. Breakfast in the adjacent restaurant was very good too. Yes, it’s a busy New York hotel and there’s a bit of normal wear and tear, but nothing that detracts from the stay – and it’s important to remember the price point. Frankly, I’d challenge anyone to find a better-located hotel at a better price if booking in advance. Excellent value, great service and a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We have now stayed here twice and we really enjoy it when we are in the city. The location is great, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. There is laundry amenities and a nice gym that are helpful during a longer stay. We always come back here and will continue.

The hotel is a wonderful place to stay a couple of blocks on Times Square so you’re a little bit away from the creation. It’s on a very quiet street but she could be in Times Square in minutes.! Excellent cheap parking right across the street from the hotel so so easy the hotel staff are so so accommodating wonderful people, especially Destinee and Gabriella at the front desk! I got in New York City almost every week. I can stay anywhere. That I want I always stay here for that wonderful they treat me like a royalty! And trust me, I’m nobody special lol

Considering its prime Midtown Manhattan location, this hotel offers very good value for money. The room was surprisingly spacious for NYC standards and felt comfortable rather than cramped. Despite being close to the elevators, it was very quiet. Times Square and Central Park are both just a 4–5 minute walk away, and the hotel is easy to reach by public transport, making it a great base for sightseeing, Broadway shows, and exploring the city on foot. The front desk service was efficient and professional. The only real downside was the elevator situation. During our arrival, only one of three elevators was operating, leading to waiting times of up to 15 minutes, and we even took the stairs down from the 17th floor once. That said, the hotel handled this issue surprisingly well: complimentary water and KitKat bars were offered, along with a fun New York trivia quiz in the lobby where guests could win gift cards while waiting for the elevators. It was a thoughtful and creative way to ease the inconvenience. Overall, a solid, well-located choice in the heart of New York, with professional service and smart management even when things don't go perfectly.

This is an amazing hotel to stay at for anyone visiting New York for tourism or for work. We stayed in a double room for 5 nights on the 18th floor and the room was great. It’s a nice size and had everything that was needed. The beds and pillows were comfy, the heating was a big help with the cold weather and the bathroom was nice. The room itself was spotless and the reception staff were helpful with any requests and the cleaners did a great job. We also heard zero noise from other guests which was a nice surprise, however we were in a corner room. The only downside in the room was the sliding bathroom doors were awful considering it’s a double room and felt like it offered zero privacy. The only other bad part about the hotel (and I reckon most other people will agree)… the dreadful elevators. The hotel has 3 elevators, and I don’t know if it’s a standard issue in New York hotels but considering that the hotel isn’t huge the waiting times for one to appear on our floor seemed to take forever even at off-peak times and was a common complaint for other guests that we spoke to in there. Half the time it didn’t seem like there was any movement at all. Apart from that though, the hotel was a dream come true, regardless of price - if I could rate the location 10 stars I would. The hotel is perfectly centred between Central Park and Times Square with great food options nearby (and the Grisly Pear bar next door is awesome). Most tourist hotspots are within walking distance, and it’s surrounded by a couple of Subway stations within a couple of blocks so it’s easy to travel around the City. If I’m ever fortunate enough to come to New York again I’d definitely choose to stay here.
